Activities for children
Since children and young people are the main priority of the Eritrean festival, there will be special entertainment programs addressing the interest of the children and the youth. Thus, the idea of having an amusement park (Tivoli) present at the occasion was developed six years ago. This year, improved preparation is on the way to make sure that our children enjoy the festival.
Additionally, the Eritrean youth organization is mainly involved in this area and is organizing various activities for the children. This year the Eritrean festival in Scandinavia is proud to present the EriAm sisters to our visitors and in particular our children audience. Also, one of the main attractions will be an Eritrean clown from Germany who will be showing his latest tricks and music. There will be tips tours, face painting, children's disco, sports, competitions, etc.
With the intention of passing our cultural heritage from generation to generation an Eritrean traditional games for children will be prepared. It will be a nice opportunity for kids to try out games that their parents played in their home country. The idea is to get parents and children to play together and have pleasant moments.
